1. About FastBlock
FastBlock ("FastBlock", "we", "us", or "our") builds high-performance crypto infrastructure, data systems, and trading execution technologies, including proprietary research ("Alpha") and execution systems ("Beta") engineered in-house from first principles.
FastBlock provides technical, analytical, and infrastructure tools only. We do not provide financial advice, investment advice, portfolio management, brokerage services, or any other regulated financial services.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Services only if:
- You are at least 18 years old;
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms; and
- Your use of the Services is lawful in your jurisdiction.
You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and exchange or protocol rules.
3. Nature of the Services
The Services may include, but are not limited to:
- On-chain and off-chain data ingestion and analytics
- Market microstructure research and signal analysis
- Trading execution infrastructure and routing systems
- Latency-sensitive transaction dispatch tooling
- Simulation, telemetry, and monitoring systems
- Documentation, dashboards, and research outputs
The Services may be experimental, evolving, or provided on a beta or best-effort basis, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. No Financial Advice or Fiduciary Duty
All information, data, analytics, research, signals, metrics, latency figures, performance snapshots, and system descriptions are provided for informational and technical purposes only.
FastBlock does not:
- Recommend or endorse any investment strategy, asset, or transaction
- Provide advice tailored to your financial situation
- Act as your agent, broker, or fiduciary
You are solely responsible for all trading decisions, system integrations, and transaction outcomes.
5. Alpha and Beta Systems Disclaimer
FastBlock develops proprietary Alpha (research and signals) and Beta (execution infrastructure) systems.
You acknowledge that:
- Alpha does not guarantee profitability or predictive accuracy
- Beta does not guarantee execution priority, fill quality, ordering, or outcomes
- Market conditions, congestion, validators, builders, relays, MEV actors, and network behavior are outside FastBlock's control
- Past performance, latency benchmarks, or throughput figures are not guarantees of future performance.
6. Performance and Latency Claims
Any references to latency (including microsecond or sub-millisecond figures), throughput, or performance characteristics:
- Are indicative only, based on internal testing or historical observations
- May vary by region, hardware, network conditions, chain behavior, and external infrastructure
- Are not contractual guarantees unless explicitly stated in a written agreement
FastBlock shall not be liable for delays, reordering, dropped transactions, failed executions, or missed opportunities.
7. Infrastructure and Availability
The Services may rely on:
- Third-party blockchains, validators, RPC providers, relays, builders, exchanges, or cloud infrastructure
- Experimental or rapidly evolving protocols
FastBlock does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, fault-free operation, or continuous access to any Service.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree that you:
- Use the Services at your own risk
- Are responsible for securing private keys, credentials, and access tokens
- Will not reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse proprietary systems
- Will not use the Services for unlawful, abusive, or manipulative activity
You remain fully responsible for all transactions executed using your systems or credentials.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Services, including:
- Software, source code, binaries, and system architectures
- Data schemas, analytics, dashboards, and research outputs
- Alpha models, execution logic, and infrastructure designs
are owned by FastBlock or its licensors.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership or license beyond a limited, revocable right to use the Services as permitted.
10. Confidentiality
Certain aspects of the Services, including system behavior, performance characteristics, methodologies, and research outputs, may be confidential.
You agree not to disclose or misuse any non-public information obtained through the Services without FastBlock's prior written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- FastBlock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or economic losses
- This includes loss of profits, trading losses, missed opportunities, data loss, or system downtime
- FastBlock's total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services in the preceding 12 months (or zero if no fees were paid).
12. No Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
FastBlock disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
13. Regulatory Positioning
You acknowledge that:
- Crypto assets and markets are volatile and high-risk
- Regulatory treatment varies by jurisdiction and may change
- FastBlock is not responsible for regulatory consequences arising from your use of the Services
14. Termination
FastBlock may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and without liability.
Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms immediately cease.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
